Daddy Day = Pumpkin Day

The kids are always very excited for Daddy Day.  It is practically an official holiday, therefore it needs capital letters.  This week both kids were off due to a professional development day and I was off to present at a conference downtown.

Captain Canada and the kids decided to take advantage of the nice weather and joined everyone else in the Lower Mainland heading to the pumpkin patch.  It was so busy, there was a twenty minute wait to get on the hay ride to get to the patch.  But each kid picked the perfect pumpkin and had a great time taking part in the many activities that the patch has to offer.

A pumpkin sitting photo is my must have photo opp. of the pumpkin patch and Captain Canada knows how to deliver.

To me, they are the cutest pumpkins in the patch.
