Weekend Adventure: Maplewood Farm

I survived my first week of working full time and like anything new, we started strong.  We managed to avoid the drive thru and the delivery person.  Lunches were made the night before and laundry remained manageable.  By the end of the week, I was looking forward to the weekend and having some quality family time.

When we woke Saturday morning to brilliant blue sky, we knew we wanted to be outside.  So we headed to North Vancouver, to Maplewood Farm.

Maplewood Farm is beautiful and peaceful.

There are paths to walk along.

Bridges to peak through.

Ducks to feed and ponds to explore.

Of course, it's a farm so there are many animals to see.

After petting the animals, hand washing is recommended.  At Maplewood Farm, they have a sink area that is operated by a foot pedal.  Jack was in heaven.  He was a thorough and repeat hand washer.

This goat adored Sarah and Sarah did not want to stop giving him love.

There are benches overlooking the pond, the perfect place to sit and have a snack.

It was a wonderful place to spend a few hours on a weekend.
