School is coming. School is coming. School is coming.
In just two more days, I will start back to work. This year, for the first time since 2007, I will be working full time. I am also switching roles and will be working as a teacher consultant.
In just nine days, Sarah will begin kindergarten. She is excited, I am nervous. But, I know she is going to love kindergarten.
In sixteen days, Jack will begin pre-school. He will attend three days a week for 2.5 hours each day. I am glad that Captain Canada will be doing the drop offs. It will be hard to watch my baby start pre-school.
For me September is a little like a new year. I often set goals for myself and for our family just as I often make resolutions in January. This year is no different. I hope to meal plan for longer than a week and I plan to get up in the mornings to squeeze in a workout while the kids are still sleeping.
I am also planning to green our routine for our family so that we can be healthier and be more environmentally friendly. My goals are:
1. Pack litterless lunches.
2. Switch to eco-friendly cleaning products to eliminate Jack's reactions to harsh cleaning products.
3. Be conscious about the amount of driving that we do and try to run errands and do drop offs together to reduce the amount of time we use our vehicle.
I am partnering up with Seventh Generation to take part in the Green Your Routine Challenge. Throughout the month of September I will be blogging about our journey as we adjust to our new schedules and routines and work towards living a greener life. I hope you will follow along and keep me updated on how you are doing with your own green challenge.
Seventh Generation provided me with the above starter kit to kick start my "Green Your Routine" challenge. One lucky reader will receive a starter kit in an upcoming giveaway. Stay tuned for more details.

Love 7th generation!!
