Love is taking your kids swimming four times in a two night hotel stay. P.S. There was no hot tub.
Love is carrying your 36 pound toddler around downtown Seattle for a half an hour, with a full diaper. My son does not smell like roses.
Love is kissing your husband good bye and telling him to have a good time at the Mariners' game while you entertain your two kids for five plus hours in a hotel room. I am not going to lie, we did leave the hotel room for a couple of hours.
How did you show the love this weekend?
I am linking up over at Bees with Honey for Let's Bee Friends Friday. Check it out.

Your such a good mom. Seattle is a cool place.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun vacation. I'm 3 hours away from Seattle. Great photos. Your kids are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI'm giving you the virtual mother of the weekend award! OMG. I feel ya.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Seattle, but it's on my to-do list! I'd even settle for being locked up in a hotel room, as long as it had a good view. I bet the kids have good memories of this trip! All the swimming they could handle!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! And you do get the sacrificial mom award for the Let's BEE Friends weekend!
ReplyDeleteSeattle is an amazing city. Like Vancouver it highlights the best of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Portland is great too, lots of bridges. Mariners fans, eh. The atmosphere at a ball game is one of the better family oriented sporting events you can get. If your friends play little league baseball as well you should check out www.spitz.ca/playz. You can win new sports equipment for your team. I've entered multiple times already. Lookin forward to the little league national championships in North Van this year. Go Langley!
