Here is what I learned in January.
This month, I had the pleasure of attending my first ever NFL football game. Captain Canada and I took in the January 2 Seattle Seahawks' game. It was a very cold evening, but the atmosphere was amazing. It was a great date day.

I learned that the terrible twos can start in the blink of an eye. My easy going boy went from being the easy child to take somewhere, to the little dictator yelling, "Self" and "I want it now" at the top of his lungs.
I also had the pleasure of watching Sarah come into her own this month. It seems like we have turned a corner in terms of her behaviour. She is taking her big sister role seriously and has been so kind to Jack and so helpful to me.
I found out the hard way that credit card readers are very efficient and those who use them can make a replica credit card very quickly. We went to Science World on a Saturday and used the parking meter there. By Sunday, my credit card was purchasing a large amount of clothing at Artizia ($2300 to be exact, at two locations).
I came to the startling realization that the buffet on the ferry to Swartz Bay is not the place for us. The kids' play place on the ferry to Swartz Bay is the place for us.
I learned that leaving the "soos" at home when going away for the weekend is the best way to get rid of those addictive soothers for good.
I realized that I enjoy making cookies on many levels. It is a creative outlet. I love making things for others and it evokes happy memories from my own childhood.
What did you learn this month?
